The carnival of Spain is celebrated in almost all its cities, but mainly in Cadiz and the Canary Islands, where gastronomy plays a very important role to make it a true carnival.
Undoubtedly, the favorite food of these festivities in Spain are the ears or small vegetables. Also the donuts, the sweet pancakes stuffed with applesauce and salted pancakes, the Casadielles, their delicious fried milk, and they could not miss the carnival tortillas, normal and with pumpkin.
