Carnival in Ambato: Typical costumes

The Cathedral is one of the places where this festival is celebrated more frequently, during two weeks there is a great variety of activities and events of a productive, artistic and cultural nature, that can be enjoyed at the Ambato carnival; Among them are the parades with the allegorical cars and the people who make beautiful choreographies wearing striking costumes of different colors and painted faces with vegetal colors.
